Carl's Jr. Chicken Fillet Sandwich

I will commend Carl's Jr. for their effort on this sandwich.  It's probably second to Chick Fil-A in the fast food market -  the chicken was plump and juicy.  If only Carl's Jr. had shredded lettuce, it would really help their chicken sandwiches.  They already go through the effort of hand-breading (which is a factor), might as well get a better textured lettuce to complement the sandwich.

Carl's Jr. - Six Dollar Western Cheese Burger and Criss Cut Fries

Hadn't had a Six Dollar Burger here in years, I got one with basically my favorite burger ingredients - meat, bacon, bbq sauce, and crispy onions (they were technically onion rings yeah same concept).  The only thing missing was cheddar because Carl's Jr. only has american cheese.  My synopsis of american cheese.

The burger was decent, definitely near the quality of some restaurant burgers but not quite.  It wasn't greasy but c'mon - the ingredients are still ALL either fatty or salty.  At about 1000 calories, this may be the single most calorically dense single item Tacographics has eaten.  The bacon flavor with a hint of bbq sauce (could've used a little more) and crunch from the onion rings made the burger patty a secondary flavor source and more for texture.

The criss-cut fries I've also hadn't had in a long time, and damn, they're ridiculous - basically a KFC potato wedge in a crunchier form.  With ketchup it was unfair, these were borderline awesome.  Overall, I couldn't eat all of them because the order was HUGE.  I'd definitely need someone to share them with if I ever decide to get them again.

As a whole, this meal made me feel horrible the rest of the day - headache, dry-mouth, etc.  The sheer amount of fat and salt has set a new standard of fat-assery.  I try not to eat a whole day's worth of calories in one meal because I usually feel like I'm dying for hours.

Carl's Jr. - BBQ Chicken Tender Wrapper

Places like KFC have the Twister, McDonalds has snack-sized wraps, as does Wendys and BK (I think).  I've had them all in my life, and they range from meh to decent.  Carl's Jr. has joined the 21st century and created their own version in 3 flavors - honey mustard (nope), ranch (too fatty), and bbq.  Seeing as bbq sauce + fried chicken = god tier, I had decent expectations.   I guess I'll have to link to my chicken strips MEGA REVIEW once again, where I reviewed the strips found in this wrap (IT'S BASICALLY A TACO).

Compared to other places' shredded lettuce, this is the most "shreddy".  Still present were some ever-annoying stems. FUCK OFF STEMS, HAVING TO TAKE A FEW PRECIOUS SECONDS TO PICK YOU OUT OF MY TACOS IS SLIGHTLY ANNOYING.

My first of 3 wrappers, this one was relatively stem-free (thank you Jesus).

The cheese was a blend and added a tiny bit of flavor.  The main flavor came from the bbq sauce and chicken which were bold pepper-y.  All 3 of the "wrappers" I ate could have used a smidgeon more of bbq sauce but overall were already salty enough.  These white-people tacos overall exceeded my expectations, I just don't think I'll be eating 3 of them in one sitting again.  Maybe 2 with some beans and rice from the adjacent Taco Bell.
